How GLM Can Customize Travertine Coffee Tables to Tit Your Project Supply
We reduce batch color differences, determine stress points to reduce the risk of breakage during transportation or handling, and balance display effects with daily maintenance by matching board color tones, visually inspecting pore density, applying pore filling methods, selecting glossy or matte finishes, edge treatment, and commercial-grade packaging. This makes our products a better match for your project.

Travertine Coffee Table Material & Finish Features
Natural pores, filled or unfilled surfaces, and matte finishing provide different visual and maintenance options, while reinforced edge protection helps reduce transport damage.

Travertine has natural, primitive, and relaxed stone characteristics.

Choose based on cleaning needs, design aesthetics, and frequency of use.

Matte travertine has lower reflection and a more natural hand feel. It is often used for lounges, living rooms, showrooms, and resort-style spaces.

The edges and porous areas will be reinforced with protection to ensure safe transportation.
GLM Travertine Coffee Table Project Space Solution
GLM provides corresponding solutions to meet the different needs of various spaces for coffee tables, based on the specific circumstances.

Projects typically require the mass production of coffee tables in a consistent color. Before cutting, we cut the stones according to different areas, grouping stones with high similarity together.

Offering matte or polished travertine not only showcases its natural texture but also helps clients relax; this requirement will be confirmed before construction begins.

To enhance the texture, solid travertine was used, and to reduce weight, the tabletop and base were packaged separately to minimize the risks during transportation and handling.

To control the budget and ensure timely delivery, a simple structure is adopted, standard parts are made, and irregular and complex shapes are reduced.

The pores and natural textures of natural travertine give it a warm feel, and commercial showrooms need to showcase its natural attributes. However, it is important to determine the front and back of the stone before cutting.
We normally fill the open pores. A flatter surface is easier to wipe when there is coffee, food residue or dust. Some clients prefer to keep part of the natural holes because they want a more original travertine look. That is also possible, but the cleaning work will be higher.
Wipe it first with a soft cloth. If there is still residue, use clean water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner.
Do not use vinegar, strong acid cleaner or rough pads on travertine. Sealer can slow down absorption, but it does not mean the liquid can stay on the surface for a long time.
There is no fixed resealing time for every table.
A simple way is to check the surface with clean water. Put a few drops on the tabletop and watch whether the stone becomes darker quickly. If it does, the existing protection may be weaker and resealing can be considered.
Hotel lounges, clubs or other high-use areas should normally be checked more often than a table used at home.
Honed is more common when you want less reflection and a quieter surface. Polished travertine shows more color and makes the filled areas and vein contrast easier to see.
If the table will be placed under strong indoor lighting, we suggest checking both finish samples under similar light before you confirm the surface.
When the structure allows, the tabletop and base are packed separately.
EVA or foam is added around the edges and contact points, then the parts are fixed inside a wooden crate or metal frame. For a very large top, we also check the crate size, unloading area, doorway and lifting route before shipment.
