Penetrating Sealer Helps Control Stains Before They Reach the Stone
For your marble coaster sets projects, we can test a penetrating sealer on the selected stone before bulk production, then apply it after the pieces are fully cleaned and dried. A 24-hour water or oil spot test can be added to the batch check. The sealer helps reduce absorption, but marble can still etch from lemon, wine or vinegar, so care guidance should stay with the product.
Micro-Beveled Edges and Individual Inserts Reduce Shipping Chips
Where the design allows, we ease exposed edges to around R1.5–R2.0 mm, then check the corners again before packing,reduce thin coaster edges chips. Each 4- or 6-piece set can use individual separators or fitted EPE/EVA inserts, keeping stone surfaces and edges from hitting each other inside the box. For e-commerce programs, the final pack can also be prepared for third-party drop testing.
From Marble Selection to Coaster Set Inspection
GLMStone handles natural stone selection, cutting, edge finishing and batch inspection within the same production workflow. For marble coaster orders, actual stone can be checked before cutting, while finished pieces are sorted again by size, surface and visual range before packing. Before shipment, the surface is treated with double-layer fluorosilicone permeation sealing to prevent seepage and undergoes a 24-hour seepage prevention test to reduce yellow spots or corrosion on the marble surface. High-density EPE/EVA fully enclosed boxes are used to reduce the risk of drop damage. Matte or surface micro-groove/micro-textured processes break water film tension and prevent breakage caused by sticking to cups.
We use cold light UV laser/waterjet marking, followed by epoxy resin edge sealing, to eliminate the possibility of logo edge flaking caused by high-temperature engraving.A 0.3mm flexible deformation tolerance is reserved at the junction of dissimilar materials, reducing the risk of cracking and detachment due to thermal expansion and contraction, especially in designs where brass or walnut wood is inlaid in marble. The bottom has a grooved design that embeds an EVA/cork pad. It uses industrial water-resistant adhesive to protect the tabletop from scratches. It uses safe-grade materials in accordance with your country’s and region’s food contact safety and regulations, and is certified as food contact non-toxic. You don’t have to worry about the coaster indirectly contacting ice cubes, tea bags, or fruit, or about stone polishing wax or sealant containing heavy metals or toxicity.
We promise that your products use the same marble block and will be A/B graded and packaged for color difference before leaving the factory to reduce color difference. The thickness tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.3mm to prevent unevenness when displayed on the table. We support low MOQ mixed containers/multi-style consolidation.

They’re fine for regular coffee or tea cups. While marble itself is heat-resistant, it contains adhesives, resins, inlays, or backing materials. Therefore, it’s not recommended to use marble coasters for very hot cookware, as this may cause irreversible damage.
