Custom Soapstone Sink Manufacturer for Kitchen and Project Use

GLMStone supplies custom soapstone sinks for kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms and other interior projects. Production can follow your cabinet layout, countertop drawing or approved sink dimensions. We support farmhouse, apron-front, undermount, utility and other non-standard designs, with both solid-carved and fabricated structures available for one-off projects or repeated orders.

Our 10,000+㎡ factory covers cutting, shaping, edge finishing, assembly and final inspection for your custom soapstone sink. Drain and faucet openings are checked against the approved drawing before packing, while the finished bowl is tested for water flow, drain alignment and standing-water areas. Fabricated joints and internal corners are also inspected after assembly, helping reduce leakage, poor drainage and installation problems before the sink reaches your site.

Send your sink drawing or required size to check available soapstone and fabrication options for your project.

SOAPSTONE SINK APPLICATIONS

Where Soapstone Sinks Are Commonly Used

Soapstone sinks are used in kitchens, utility rooms, outdoor cooking areas and custom vanities. The sink does not need to follow one fixed size. Bowl depth, apron height, drain position and countertop connection can be adjusted from your cabinet or project drawing.

Outdoor Kitchen Use

Drainage matters more once the sink goes outdoors. Water should not stay around the bowl or joints for a long time. For projects in freeze-thaw or coastal areas, we also check the stone condition, fixing method and metal support before production.

Laundry & Utility Rooms

A laundry sink normally needs more bowl depth than a bathroom basin. You may also need a larger drain opening or more space around the bowl for washing tools, clothes or other items. These sizes can be adjusted from your cabinet and plumbing layout.

Vanity & Vessel Basins

Solid block carving and fabricated basins are both possible for vanity projects. Your faucet position, drain hole, bowl depth and cabinet space below are checked before the drawing is released. If the basin connects with the vanity top, we also review the joint position and stone layout together.

Farmhouse & Integrated Kitchens

Cabinet opening comes first for an apron-front sink. We match the sink width, apron height, countertop thickness and support position before cutting. If the sink and countertop use the same soapstone, both pieces can be selected from one available batch where possible.

24-Hour Water Test for Fabricated Sink Joints

For fabricated sinks, we use tongue-and-groove or dado joints with stone epoxy instead of simple flat butt joints. After assembly and curing, your sink is filled with water for 24 hours to check the bowl joints, corners and drain connection before packing. Solid-block sinks can also be carved where the size and material allow, removing structural joints from the bowl completely.

CNC-Cut Drainage with a 2°–3° Slope

Instead of leaving the bowl bottom flat, we can machine a 2°–3° fall toward your drain position and use R10–R15 rounded internal corners where the design allows. After machining, your finished sink is filled and drained to check water flow and standing-water areas. This gives you a cleaner bowl bottom and makes daily wiping easier, especially around the corners.

PROJECT SOLUTIONS

Soapstone Sink Solutions for Different Project Buyers

We adjust drawings, stone selection, bowl construction, installation details and packing around how you specify, install or resell the product—so the important checks are completed before the sink reaches your site.

Architects & Interior Designers

Choose the Slab Before the Sink Is Cut
From our 10,000+㎡ stone warehouse, you can compare actual soapstone slabs by color, veining and usable slab size. If the sink needs to match a countertop or vanity, both parts can be arranged from the same available batch where possible. We send slab photos, vein direction and natural or oiled finish samples before cutting.

Contractors & High-End Developers

Drainage Check Before Site Installation
Fabricated sinks can use tongue-and-groove or dado joints with stone epoxy instead of a simple butt joint. If the size and budget allow, solid-block carving is another option. The bowl bottom is CNC-machined toward the drain, then the finished sink is filled and drained for checking. Joint leakage, slow drainage or standing-water areas can be found before the sink reaches your site.

Custom Cabinetry & Kitchen Companies

Cabinet Fit Before Cutting
Your cabinet opening and countertop drawing are checked first. Outside sink size, apron height, bowl depth, drain position and support space are matched against the opening before production. After the drawing is approved, critical dimensions can be controlled to ±0.5 mm. A cutout template can also be supplied when needed, so your installer has less adjustment to do on site.

Importers & Kitchen & Bath Brands

Repeat Models Without Starting Again
After one sink model is approved, we keep the drawing, outside size, bowl depth, apron dimension, drain position and finish record for later batches. Common 30″ and 33″ farmhouse sizes can also be kept as repeat models.
For shipment, the sink is protected with fitted foam and an export crate. SKU marks and packing details can follow the same record for repeat orders.

Laboratory & Specialty Projects

Built Around the Project Requirement
Laboratory sinks do not always follow residential sink sizes. We start from your required stone specification, drain fitting and opening dimensions.Available material test data can be sent for review when the project requires it. Drain holes, bowl size and other machining details are then made from the approved project drawing rather than a fixed sink standard.

Confirm Your Soapstone Sink Details Before Production

Your sink can be adjusted around the selected stone, cabinet size, bowl dimensions and plumbing details.

Is Soapstone a Good Material for a Kitchen Sink?

Soapstone has low water absorption & takes heat well, so it works differently from many porous stones around a kitchen sink. It also handles many common household cleaners. It is softer than granite, so scratches and use marks will appear over time.

Does a Soapstone Sink Need to Be Sealed or Oiled?

Soapstone normally does not need the penetrating sealer, Its natural pores and gaps are almost non-existent,Mineral oil is mainly used when a darker color is wanted. Some customers keep the original grey surface.

Solid-Block Vs Fabricated Soapstone Sink: Which Should I Choose?

A solid-block sink is carved from one piece of stone, so the bowl has no fabricated corner joints, but it uses more material, is heavier and is limited by available block size. Fabricated sinks are more flexible for large farmhouse, laundry and custom dimensions. Good fabrication uses tongue-and-groove joints, stone epoxy and a tapered bottom toward the drain, followed by a water test before shipment.

How Do I Size a Custom Soapstone Sink for My Cabinet?

Start with the cabinet opening, not just the desired bowl size. We normally need the outside sink dimensions, inside bowl length and width, bowl depth, apron height, wall thickness, drain position and available bottom-support space. Farmhouse sinks commonly appear around 24″, 27″, 30″, 33″ and 36″ widths, but your final dimensions should follow the actual cabinet and countertop drawing.

How Do You Clean a Soapstone Sink, and What About Scratches?

Daily cleaning is simple: water, mild soap and a soft cloth are enough for most use. Soapstone will pick up scratches because the surface is relatively soft. Small marks are often left as part of the patina. If a deeper scratch needs repair, the area can usually be sanded and refinished locally.

What Affects the Cost of a Custom Soapstone Sink?

There is no useful single price for every custom sink. Cost changes with overall size, bowl depth, soapstone selection, solid-block versus fabricated construction, apron thickness, drainboard or backsplash details, machining time and export packing.
