Travertine Side Table Structure and Finish Details

This solid side table uses a 45-degree angle seamless splicing process, which balances aesthetics with reduced transportation costs and risks.

Modern minimalist style is suitable for straight-line cuts, which stretch the visual space, while horizontal cuts with irregular textures present a retro or wabi-sabi style.

Transparent resin filling can preserve the 3D visual effect of holes, while special cement filling with mineral pigments further enhances the original appearance.

The current aesthetic trend favors matte finishes, which are smooth, non-reflective, and soft to the touch, while polished finishes reflect light like a mirror and have high color saturation.
Beveled Structure Achieves Weight Reduction
Solid stone side tables are popular, but using solid stone increases transportation costs and makes on-site handling difficult. We use a 45-degree beveled edge design combined with an internal support structure. This method achieves a cohesive visual appearance while reducing weight.

Pore Filling and Surface Protection
For side tables in high-traffic spaces, such as hotels and lounges, where larger pores can attract dust or water stains, GLM uses transparent resin to fill the surface and seal it, reducing the absorption of moisture and stains. However, this does not make the travertine table maintenance-free; it simply makes daily cleaning easier.
GLM Travertine Side Table Solutions

In restaurants or hotels with high foot traffic and many children, sharp-edged stone side tables with an unstable center of gravity pose safety hazards and the risk of customer complaints. Our travertine side tables feature a hidden counterweight and anti-slip damping system at the bottom, significantly lowering the overall center of gravity and preventing tipping. For the edge feel, we offer commercial-grade safety chamfers, rounded bullnose, and Deep Tumbled Edge technology to completely eliminate the sharp surfaces of the original stone.

We use internationally certified zero-VOC resin, and all surface protection uses food-safe water-based sealants. These meet the environmental standards for indoor furniture in Australia, North America, and Europe, helping you establish a high-end, responsible brand image.

When procuring a complete set of furniture (side tables, coffee tables, console tables), if the items are from different manufacturers, significant color differences and texture conflicts can occur upon delivery, failing to achieve the final design effect. GLM, leveraging its stable supply chain, offers “Vein-Matched Collection Production,” using the same piece/batch of carefully selected travertine blocks to process your side tables, coffee tables, and console tables. It also supports flexible mixed-SKU container loading of multiple styles and SKUs. This ensures consistency in color and texture across the entire furniture set, enhancing your brand premium and reducing trial-and-error costs and inventory pressure associated with new products.
