Marble Bistro Table Manufacturing for Commercial Projects
GLMStone has a 10,000+㎡ stone furniture factory with 100+ skilled workers and 5-axis CNC equipment for custom stone processing. We produce more than 2,000 sets of stone tables each year and supply projects in over 20 countries. Marble bistro tables can be developed from your drawing, reference model or required table size.
For each model, the marble top, edge profile, pedestal proportion and fixing position are confirmed before production. CNC machining is used for round tops, curved edges and custom base components, followed by hand finishing and trial assembly. For batch orders, stone tone and vein can be grouped before cutting, while the tabletop and base are checked together for height, balance and overall fit before packing.
Send us your table size, quantity or reference image for material options and quotation.
Marble Bistro Tables Built Around Your Project Requirements
Choose by tabletop shape, pedestal structure, stone color and commercial use.

Dark marble gives stronger contrast in hospitality interiors, while careful edge polishing helps exposed corners look cleaner after handling.

Classic marble tops meet cast-iron or metal pedestal bases, giving your café project the familiar character of traditional Parisian bistro furniture.

The slender metal base creates a lighter visual effect and is available in a variety of finishes, including black, brushed steel, or brass, to meet your individual needs.

Our central base design provides more legroom. Stone or metal bases are customizable to your chosen tabletop size and weight.

We recommend choosing marble first, and then matching it with a wooden, metal or stone base to match the style of your project.

For outdoor projects, we match the stone, base coating and fixing details to sun, rain and site conditions, helping reduce weather-related wear over time.

The CNC-cut round tabletop maintains a simple tabletop proportion, while the chamfered edges reduce minor bumps and knocks that may occur during frequent use in the café.

We will group the light-colored marble slabs according to their base color and grain direction before cutting them to maintain visual consistency in your bulk orders.
Why Marble Bistro Tables Suitable for Commercial Seating
Compact proportions, natural stone character and practical edge details make marble bistro tables suitable for cafés, restaurants and hospitality spaces

600–800 mm tops fit two-seat layouts without taking excess floor space.

Each tabletop carries its own color movement and stone pattern.

Powder-coated metal or stainless steel bases suit different project conditions.

Bullnose, eased or micro-beveled edges help reduce knocks and chipping.
Weighted Pedestal and Support Plate Keep Heavy Marble Tops Stable
We carefully select the appropriate base size and weight for each product, based on the diameter, thickness, and overall height of the marble surface. A larger metal support board is positioned beneath the marble to distribute the weight, reducing the load on the marble itself. The base is designed to be narrow, minimizing the risk of instability. Furthermore, a mechanical fastening system is used to securely connect the marble surface to the base, eliminating the need for adhesives, which can loosen over time. This approach helps to reduce the risk of movement, loosening, and tipping during daily restaurant use.

Penetrating Sealer Controls Stains Without Hiding Marble Care Limits
Coffee, olive oil, and wine are common on bistro tables, so stone surfaces need more than just simple waxing. We can apply a penetrating sealant to reduce water and oil absorption and conduct a 24-hour treatment test on selected stone before production. Marble is still relatively sensitive to acidic liquids such as lemon juice and vinegar, so your project includes maintenance instructions and offers optional surface protection systems for high-traffic areas such as dining areas.
From Blueprints to Marble Bistro Table Manufacturing Process

Each marble bistro table starts with your drawing, size or reference image. We first confirm the stone, tabletop shape, thickness, edge profile and base structure, then move into cutting and CNC machining. After shaping, the tops go through edge finishing, hand polishing and surface treatment before fitting with the selected base. Finished tables are checked for dimensions, appearance and assembly, then separated, protected and packed according to the shipping method.
Built Around How Your Bistro Tables Will Be Sold and Used
A restaurant, outdoor contractor, designer and furniture retailer do not evaluate the same marble bistro table in the same way. We adjust material selection, edge details, base structure, batch control, fixing method and export packing around how your tables will be installed, handled and reordered.

Before leaving the factory, we apply a penetrating release agent and conduct a 24-hour etching test on oil/alcohol stains to reduce the reaction of natural marble when it comes into contact with acidic liquids. The polished layer forms Etch Marks. The base is made of heavy-duty thickened cast iron and has patented adaptive feet installed under the base to eliminate table wobbling.

For your export shipping packaging, we customize high-density EVA slotted packaging, with individually slotted floating fixation for the marble disc and cast iron base. The tabletop is pre-embedded with brass/stainless steel internal thread nuts via CNC blind holes. Consumers simply need to use the included hex wrench to tighten the base bolts into the metal nuts, achieving a “metal-to-metal” lock and preventing stripping and damage.

GLMStone uses R3–R5mm (Micro-beveling) or Full Bullnose edge treatment to prevent sharp corners. It also uses 3D digital color separation and grading of the same raw material, grading according to the whiteness of the base color and the density of the texture, to ensure the consistency of texture and color of your entire batch of 50-100 tabletops to the greatest extent.

Our edging uses brass/stainless steel, mechanically pressed into the pre-drilled grooves in the marble edge using a specialized crimping machine, and secured at the bottom with countersunk screws. This ensures it won’t detach even when heated and expanding. This prevents your marble bistro table from being exposed to sun and rain outdoors, where the different coefficients of thermal expansion between the brass and marble can cause the edging to peel off within months, leaving dirt and even scratching customers’ hands.

Testimonials
A bistro table is usually more compact and often uses a round or square top with a central pedestal. It is commonly planned for one or two people. Café tables cover a wider range of sizes and structures.
A 600–800 mm round or square top is common for two-seat bistro layouts. A 30-inch table gives slightly more usable dining space, while smaller tops work better in narrow cafés or balconies. Before fixing the size, check your chair width, table spacing and service aisle.
Untreated marble absorbs liquids, especially lighter-colored and more porous varieties. Penetrating sealants help reduce water and oil absorption, but they don’t completely make marble stain- and acid-resistant. Coffee and oil stains should still be wiped clean promptly. Lemon juice, vinegar, and wine can corrode marble surfaces.
Yes, but the specific plan should be adjusted according to the actual climate conditions. In areas with freeze-thaw cycles, coastal areas, or places exposed to wind and sun, the choice of stone, surface treatment, sealant, fixing method, and base material are all crucial. Powder-coated metal or stainless steel bases are common choices, while leveling pads help solve the problem of uneven terrace paving.
This is especially important when restaurants combine two or more small tables to serve larger groups of guests. Tabletop thickness, final table height, and floor condition should be checked as a whole. Custom-made adjustable casters can correct for minor floor imperfections, while batch height checks can reduce height differences between tables. For your square or rectangular layout, consider using optional table connectors if you need to keep tables aligned during service.
Natural marble patterns are never exactly identical. For larger orders, we can select slabs within the approved color and texture range and group slabs with similar appearances together for cutting. You can provide photos of the slabs or reference samples for approval. If your project requires 20, 50, or more tables, we recommend discussing material reservations as early as possible to minimize visual differences between batches.
For your export orders, KD (knock-down) packaging is generally more practical. The marble tabletop, base, and pedestal can be packed separately to prevent heavy metal parts from directly pressing on the stone during transport. We choose foam or EPE protection, corner protection, and wooden crate packaging depending on the shipping method.
Yes, but the natural stone may differ slightly from the original batch. We retain approved drawings, basic specifications, dimensions, and SKU numbers to help streamline recurring production processes. For the marble itself, we compare the existing slabs with previous color and texture references.
