Turning Your Marble Vase Design into Batch Production
GLMStone uses 5-axis CNC, stone turning and hand finishing for different vase shapes, from small bud vases to larger decorative pieces. Our factory also keeps a wide range of marble, travertine and other natural stone in stock, supported by long-term material sources, so different colors and vein styles can be prepared for sampling and batch production.
You can adjust the height, body diameter, opening size, cavity depth, surface finish and decorative details around your collection. Fluted, reeded, carved or simpler smooth forms can be developed from a drawing, reference photo or existing sample. For grouped products, small, medium and tall versions can also be planned together rather than developed as separate items.
Send us your size, stone, reference design, quantity and water-use requirement. We can review the structure first and quote based on the confirmed specification.
Natural Marble Vases in Different Colors, Sizes and Sculptural Forms
Our marble vase range covers classic retail colors, small bud vases, larger statement pieces and more decorative carved forms. From a standard shape or develop your own series with different stone, dimensions, openings and surface details.

Black marble gives your collection a stronger contrast, especially for modern interiors, bar styling and darker furniture ranges. You can choose cleaner black stone or more expressive brown and white veining depending on the look you want.

Green marble works well when you want the stone itself to be the visual focus. We can sort the material before cutting so your batch stays closer in overall tone.

Large marble vases need more attention to finished weight, base width and overall balance. For hotel lobbies, large consoles or floor display, you can adjust the height and body proportion around the actual space instead of simply enlarging a small vase design.

Marble vases are small and easy to develop into sets or mixed-color pieces. You determine its shape, then change the stone, height, or neck to expand its retail reach.

Deep red marble gives your collection a stronger statement look. Fluted or smooth profiles can be developed depending on the stone and target price.

If you need more design-oriented pieces, some curved, asymmetrical, or naturally shaped works are worth considering.

Soft pink stone gives your collection a warmer decorative look. You can use it for gift ranges, vanity styling or boutique interiors where a lighter marble color works better than black or deep red.

White marble is easier to place into broad retail collections. Reeded or simple carved details give you more variation without making the design too difficult to repeat.

Blue marble gives your range a cooler, more distinctive direction. It works well for modern interiors, hotel styling and design-led collections where the natural stone color itself becomes the main feature.

It’s suitable for decorating floral-related scenes. For structures that require disassembly and assembly, we carefully inspect the connection methods of each part, the internal reinforcement structure, and the size of the cavities before sample production.

Tall marble vases are perfect for displaying long-stemmed flowers and also suitable for decorating countertops or floors. Adjusting the height, opening size, and base width of the vase will create a more harmonious and aesthetically pleasing overall shape.

Choose designs with classic proportions, wider bottle silhouettes, or exquisite carvings made from different colors of marble to add a unique style to your home décor or boutique decor.
Why GLMStone Make a Marble Vase Easier to Use and Sell
A vase can look good in a photo but still have problems with weight, balance or the inner opening. We check these practical details together with the outside design before moving into batch production.

Marble should not sit directly on delicate wood, lacquer or glass surfaces. Felt, silicone or other fitted protection can be added underneath, helping reduce scratches and movement during daily use.

The inner cavity is kept as centered as possible during hollowing, so one side is not much thinner than the other. This helps you control finished weight while reducing weak areas in the stone body.

For taller or narrow-neck designs, more stone can be kept toward the lower section. A lower center of gravity gives your vase better stability after flowers or decorative branches are added.

The mouth and visible inner edge are finished after machining, not left with rough tool marks. Opening size can also follow your flower arrangement, liner or insert requirement.
Internal Sealing & Removable Liner Keeps Water Away from the Stone Body
The internal sealing structure, along with the removable lining, effectively prevents moisture from penetrating into the marble material. We first seal the interior of the marble vase, then conduct a 48-hour water retention test to ensure its airtightness. If you have high requirements for product quality, we recommend using a glass or 304 stainless steel liner to isolate water in another container, rather than relying entirely on the marble’s own sealing properties. Natural marble surfaces may have pores or tiny cracks. Once moisture seeps into these gaps, it can cause discoloration or water stains on wooden or lacquered furniture. This design ensures that customers will not experience leaks when using the vase to display flowers.

A 304 Steel Rod Gives Footed Urns More Than a Glue Joint
For footed urns made from separate stone sections, we can run a 304 stainless-steel threaded rod through the center connection and lock it together with structural epoxy. This gives the joint mechanical support in addition to adhesive bonding. The reinforced structure is more suitable when the vase carries wet floral foam, water and heavier flower arrangements, or when it needs frequent handling, packing and reuse for events or hospitality projects.
Keeping Your Vase Collection Consistent from Sample to Repeat Orders

We use approved stone colors, overall proportions, opening sizes, surface treatments, and structural details as production standards. This is especially important when your order requires multiple heights or needs to be used in pairs. Products from the same order can be inspected together before packaging, eliminating the need for individual checks. Products with significant color differences, flaws, or those that clash with the overall style can be removed before shipment. If you have repeat orders, previously approved dimensions, structural details, stone types, and packaging methods are retained in the product number record. This allows you to easily use previous designs without having to specify these parameters each time.
Different Buyers Need Different Vase Specifications
Retail collections, hotel projects and floral programs do not usually follow the same specification. We look at how your vase will be sold, displayed and handled first, then work from there.

In both online and offline retail, packaging and product numbering are often just as important as the vase itself. You may need multiple versions of the same vase in different colors, or group vases of different sizes into the same series for sale. Depending on your sales channel requirements, we can provide individual EPE/EVA cushioning material, reinforced cartons, UPC/FNSKU labels, brand promotional cards, and appropriate retail packaging. If your warehouse has specific requirements for carton size or labeling, please inform us before sending samples.

We typically design based on your drawings or furniture layout plan, checking the proportions of each component, the arrangement of the stone, and surface details. Hotel projects prioritize visual impact, and vase designs vary depending on the setting. For example, the lobby might need a pair of stemmed vases; the restaurant bar might require vases with recessed decorations. Vases of different sizes can also be combined.

The diameter of the vase’s opening, the available space, and the depth are adjusted based on the floral materials you use or the arrangement style. Vases with wider openings are more suitable for various events, while vases with narrower openings are better suited for flowers with slender stems or smaller bouquets. Since vases are frequently rented and moved, please inform us of your usual packaging and handling methods, and we will adjust the vase’s structure accordingly.

Before determining whether a particular style of product is suitable for sale, you don’t necessarily need to prepare 200 pieces of the same color for testing. For some product lines, an approved design can be created using multiple different stone colors; or, the same material can be used on products of different heights. This allows you to try various combinations and small trial quantities before placing large orders. For small vase products, scraps of other stones can also be used if their size and quality are suitable. This also allows less common marble colors to be used in seasonal products.
Plan the Marble Vase Around Your Collection
These are the main details we normally confirm before sampling.
- Size & Proportion
- Opening & Inner Cavity
- Wall & Bottom Thickness
- Stone Colors & Veining
- Surface & Decorative Details
Body width, base diameter and opening size need to work together, especially for tall or large decorative pieces.
The usable space inside the vase matters as much as the outside shape. A narrow opening may work for a few stems, but flower foam, liners and larger arrangements need more room.
We do not use one wall thickness for every marble vase. Stone type, overall diameter, cavity depth and finished weight need to be considered together.
Different stones change the whole character of the same vase shape. White marble is easier for broad retail ranges, while stronger green, red or violet veining works better for more design-led collections.
A simple vase body can be developed into several SKUs by changing the finish or decorative treatment. Polished surfaces bring out stronger color and veining, while honed finishes look softer and more muted.
Yes While natural marble has pores and fine textures, untreated stone can darken or gradually absorb moisture. To address your needs, we can seal the inside of the vase or install a removable glass or stainless steel liner to prevent leaks.
In some respects, marble is stronger than ceramic. However, marble vases are still prone to breakage due to their thin rims, narrow necks, and natural cracks. Furthermore, heavier marble vases experience greater impact when dropped. During our design process, we take into account wall thickness, indentation depth, and base proportions to minimize the risk of your vase breaking.
Tall flowers typically require a taller vase to support them. The vase opening must be narrow enough to stably support the flower stems; meanwhile, the base of the vase needs sufficient width and weight to ensure the stability of the entire floral arrangement. If you have already chosen the type of flowers or the approximate height of the stems, please provide this information so we can adjust the vase size accordingly.
Polished marble has its colors and textures more clearly visible and is generally easier to clean. Sanded marble, on the other hand, reflects less light and has a softer appearance. This style pairs well with travertine marble, warm interior design styles, and natural decorative items. Ultimately, there is no single best surface treatment; the choice depends more on the type of stone used, the overall design style, and your daily usage needs.
Due to the characteristics of natural marble, the color, mineral texture, and grain direction of each slab may vary. If your customer wishes to purchase a pair or a set of three, please inform us before production. This way, we can select and inspect the pieces together instead of packaging them individually according to their product numbers.
Yes, to some extent that’s true. While more material can be removed from the vase’s interior, the wall thickness, unit weight, and the natural properties of the stone still need to be kept within acceptable limits. For large vases, we pay attention not only to their final weight but also to their stability and ease of handling.
For everyday cleaning, a soft cloth, water, and a pH-neutral cleaner are sufficient. However, avoid using acidic cleaners, abrasive cleaning tools, or strong chemicals. If the vase has a removable liner, remove it and wash it separately, rather than soaking the entire stone in cleaner.
