Stone Furniture for Living Rooms

Custom Stone Furniture for Living Rooms

The living room is used every day, and the main tables often become part of the room’s visual focus. If you want the coffee table, side tables and console to work as one set, we can coordinate the stone color, vein direction, edge profile and base finish before production. Pieces can be selected from the same available stone batch where possible, then adjusted to your room layout, sofa size and approved drawings.

Stone Table Supplier for Furniture Brands & Projects

GLMStone has more than 20 years of natural stone fabrication experience, with a 10,000+㎡ factory and stone stock for marble, travertine, granite and other materials. Your approved drawing is checked before cutting, including tabletop size, edge profile, base connection and support points. Our 5-axis CNC handles curved and irregular shapes, while critical dimensions can be controlled within ±0.5 mm where required. Coffee, side and console tables can also be pre-assembled before packing to check fit and stability.

For project orders, we can keep the stone range, finish, edge details and base specification on record for later batches. Packing is arranged by model and size, with corner protection, fitted foam and reinforced export crates for heavier stone tables.

Granite Living Room Tables for Furniture & Project Orders

  • The granite top can be paired with stone, timber or metal bases. Top thickness, edge profile and fixing position are confirmed according to the selected base structure.

  • Diameter and finished height can be adjusted to the seating layout. For larger round tops, we also check the base diameter and tabletop overhang before cutting.

  • Black granite can vary in mineral pattern and surface movement from slab to slab. Actual stone photos can be reviewed first, with the required finish confirmed before fabrication.

  • Light granite slabs are checked for background tone, darker mineral areas and usable surface before cutting. Pieces for the same order can be grouped from a similar available range where possible.

  • For longer tabletops, the span, stone thickness and base position need to work together. Support details are checked before fabrication, especially when the design uses a wide unsupported center area.

Side Tables That Complete Your Living Room Furniture Set

A side table is small, but its height, proportion and stone choice need to work with the sofa, coffee table and the rest of the room. For a coordinated living room set, you can use the same marble or travertine range across the coffee table, side tables and console, while adjusting each piece to its own function.

Marble Side Table Styles for Living Room Projects

  • Marble-Top-Side-Table

Natural marble tops can be matched with stone, metal or wood bases to suit different interior directions. For project orders, we normally confirm top diameter, edge detail and base fixing method before production.

  • Rectangular-Marble-Side-Table

A slim rectangular top works well beside sofas, lounge chairs and compact seating areas. It is often used where floor space is tight but you still need a stable surface for books, cups or decorative objects.

  • Round-Marble-Side-Table

The round format softens the seating layout and is easier to place near curved sofas or loose lounge chairs. It is also a practical option when circulation space around the furniture needs to be kept more open.

  • Black-Marble-Side-Table

Black marble gives the side table a stronger visual weight and works well in modern interiors, hospitality lounges and darker furniture schemes. Slab photos can be checked first if you need to review vein movement and background tone.

  • White-Marble-Side-Table

White marble side tables are commonly selected for lighter living rooms, bedrooms and hotel spaces. They help keep the layout clean, while the actual slab can still show soft grey movement or a warmer cream tone depending on selection.

  • Marble-Pedestal-Side-Table

Pedestal bases are often chosen when the table needs a more sculptural look. Cylinder, fluted or shaped pedestal forms can be adjusted with the tabletop size, so the final proportion feels balanced rather than top-heavy.

Travertine Side Tables for Living Room Projects

  • Diameter, finished height and edge thickness can be adjusted to your seating layout. The stone tone and visible pore range can be checked from the available travertine before cutting.

  • The travertine top can be matched with stone, timber or metal bases. Top thickness, edge detail and fixing position are confirmed according to the selected base structure.

  • Fluted details can be machined around cylindrical or shaped bases. Groove spacing, base diameter and tabletop proportion are checked from the drawing before CNC processing.

  • Pedestal height, base width and tabletop overhang are checked together before production. The structure can be adjusted when a heavier top or smaller floor footprint is required.

Natural Stone Console Tables for Living Room Projects

A narrow-depth console is easier to place in entrances, corridors and transition areas. For this type, depth and leg position matter more than overall length, otherwise the piece can look slim but still feel bulky in use.

A honed travertine top can be matched with stone, walnut wood or metal bases for different interior directions. Before cutting, we normally check top thickness, visible pores and how the base connects under the slab.

Fluted bases add more texture without making the console visually heavy. Groove spacing, radius and edge finishing need a bit more control in production, especially if you want the fluted detail to look neat from the front view.

Single or double pedestal bases give the console a more architectural look and solid support. We usually check the overhang and base spacing first, so the proportions stay balanced and the top does not feel visually unstable.

Soft curves work well in modern organic interiors, hotel lobbies and residential entryways. Curved shapes also need more attention during machining and edge finishing, especially around corner transitions and underside support.

Storage designs are practical for entryways and living rooms where display and function need to stay together. Drawer layout, shelf opening and stone-to-cabinet transitions should be confirmed early, so the final piece looks clean and still works well in daily use.

What We Check for Natural Stone Living Room Tables

STRUCTURE & SUPPORT CONTROL
Support Layout From Your Drawing

Send us the finished table size and base drawing first. We check the actual support position and the tabletop overhang. If the top needs to come off for shipping, this is also marked on the drawing.A longer span or thicker edge may need fiberglass rodding, mesh/composite backing or a concealed metal frame underneath. For detachable bases, inserts and bolts can be placed over the supported area instead of depending only on adhesive.

STONE MATCHING & EXPORT PACKING
Slab Matching Before Cutting

If your order has a coffee table, side tables and a console, we can look at the slabs for the whole set together.Actual slab photos are checked first. We compare the base color and main veins, then decide which usable area goes to each tabletop. Bookmatched or paired tops are laid out before cutting. At packing stage, tops and bases are matched by model. Detachable parts are packed separately, with fitted foam or EVA around exposed edges and each piece fixed inside the export crate.

Which Stone Is Better for a Living Room Table?

Marble gives you more color & vein choices. Travertine has a softer, warmer surface. Granite is harder and is used when the table is larger or heavier.

Can Coffee, Side and Console Tables Use the Same Stone?

Yes. One project can use the same stone range across the coffee table, side tables and console.

The sizes do not need to match. Each piece keeps its own height and proportion.

What Should Be Confirmed Before Production?

Start with the finished table size and how the top connects to the base.

Tabletop thickness, edge shape and support position are checked from there. If the top is long or has a wide overhang, extra support may be needed underneath.

How Do You Handle Color Difference on a Batch Order?

A small stone sample is not enough for a larger order.

We photograph the actual slabs and put closer-looking pieces into the same group. Several tables are going into one room, their tops can be laid out together before cutting. Bookmatched or paired pieces are checked separately.

How Are Heavy Stone Tables Packed?

EVA or fitted foam is added around corners, thin edges and exposed profiles.

The parts are then fixed inside reinforced export crates. Mixed project orders can use model numbers or room labels, so your team knows which pieces belong together after arrival.
